Sunstone Cottage the Rhône + Bordeaux Suites

For guests seeking spacious and flexible accommodations, our Rhône + Bordeaux Connecting Suites provide a versatile two-bedroom retreat within the Sunstone Guest Cottage, accommodating up to 8 guests. This expansive layout seamlessly combines the 740-square-foot Rhône Suite and the 820-square-foot Bordeaux Suite, creating an elegant and functional space ideal for families, groups, or wedding guests. 

This luxurious combination features two King bedrooms, a separate living room with a queen sofa bed, and the Rhône Suite featuring an additional queen sofa bed, allowing for comfortable and flexible sleeping arrangements. Guests enjoy two spa-inspired bathrooms with separate tubs and showers, a fireplace in the Bordeaux bedroom, and thoughtfully designed interiors that blend Old-World charm with modern comfort. Both suites are beautifully appointed with limestone floors, fine Mascioni Italian linens, L’Occitane bath essentials, wet bars, TV and sofa areas, bistro tables for two, and spacious walk-in closets for discreet luggage storage.  

Outside, guests enjoy the private Bordeaux Courtyard, as well as shared Cottage common areas including the Cottage Porch, Cottage Lawn, and Cottage Common Courtyard featuring lounge seating, a 10-seat dining table, and a fire pit.

Guests are also welcome to explore the Sunstone Estate’s vast vineyards on foot, and to visit the award-winning Sunstone Winery Tasting Room located a stone throw away on the Estate’s lower terrace.

Important Notes:

• Not a Hotel: Sunstone Guest Cottage is part of a private residence. It is not a hotel and does not offer a front desk, on-site dining, or overnight staff services.
• No Pets: Pets are not permitted. Pre-approved service animals are allowed and will incur a $250 cleaning fee per animal.
• No Sunstone Villa Access: A stay at the Sunstone Guest Cottage does not include access to Sunstone Villa. The Villa serves as the main residence, while the Guest Cottage is a separate guest accommodation. Sunstone Villa suites may be booked separately, subject to availability.
• Non-Functional Fireplaces: While the Bordeaux Suite features a decorative interior fireplace, it is not operational. The Guest Cottage features a functional outdoor firepit.
