Sunstone Villa & Guest Cottage

Our Tuscan-inspired Sunstone Villa boasts 8,500 square feet of luxury living space rich with limestone floors and walls, eight fireplaces, and numerous terraces and patios with mountain and vineyard views. Built using reclaimed limestone from centuries-old French chateaux, hand-formed roof tiles, and an array of historical treasures — including a 1,000-year-old kitchen sink — the Villa transports guests to the romantic heart of Provence. 

Its grand interior spaces include the Lower Foyer, Upper Foyer, Parlor, Grand Kitchen, Dining Room, Winding Staircase, Billiards Room, and Study, while its exterior spaces include the Entry Court, Central Courtyard, Kitchen Courtyard, Grand Lawn, and Motor Court. The Villa includes five well-appointed suites, each replete with a private bath, fine Mascioni Italian linens and bedding, L'Occitane bath essentials, and authentic French antiques. The Villa accommodates up to 10 guests (5 king beds).

Tucked next to the great Villa, our quaint Sunstone Guest Cottage offers additional luxury accommodations which seamlessly blend Old-World charm with modern elegance. The Cottage accommodates up to 10 guests and features a thoughtfully designed layout with three distinct master suites. The Champagne Suite is a private non-adjoining King Suite, offering a cozy fireplace and breathtaking views of the Sunstone Villa and its verdant lawn. The Rhône and Bordeaux suites are adjoining King suites, connected by the Bordeaux Suite living room, providing flexibility for families or groups. The Bordeaux Suite features a private courtyard, while each of the Rhône and Bordeaux suites include sofa beds for additional sleeping space.

Each suite is elegantly appointed with limestone floors, a spa-inspired bathroom with a separate tub and shower, fine Mascioni Italian linens, L'Occitane bath essentials, a wet bar, TV and sofa area, a bistro table for two, and a spacious walk-in closet for discreet luggage storage. Guests are welcome to enjoy the picturesque courtyards and lawns of the private residence, to explore the Sunstone Estate’s vast vineyards on foot, and to visit the award-winning Sunstone Winery Tasting Room located a stone throw away on the Estate’s lower terrace.

Important Notes:

• Not a Hotel: Sunstone Villa & Guest Cottage is a private residence. It is not a hotel and does not offer a front desk, on-site dining, or overnight staff services.
• No Pets: Pets are not permitted. Pre-approved service animals are allowed and will incur a $250 cleaning fee per animal.
• Non-Functional Fireplace: While the Avignon suite, Kitchen, Champagne suite and the Bordeaux suite features a decorative in-bedroom fireplace, it is not currently operational. Guests are welcome to use the outside real wood fireplace. The Brittany suite and the Provence suite have real wood burning fireplaces and are operational.
